My Role:

Level Design (level 1)
Event Scripting

The fourth project focused on the Isometric Camera Perspective and planning. We roadmapped the project and decided as a group to value keeping strictly to the MVP and working fast.

Since there was already an event system from the previous project we decided to use light dialogue and propping to add a comedy element to the game.

We worked with external muscianans and sound designers. and I worked with them to give game specific advice. We also worked to make sure they had access to audio asset lists early.

Since the project deadline was so tight the design team decided not to wait but create a prototype of the basic features in unreal engine. I was responsible for a protype version that could act as a moving mockup of sorts and give the team a sense of the size and pacing of the levels.

We decided early on to keep the game simple and strictly grided and managed to deliever our levels relatively early as a result.

part 2

I worked on some event scripting for the game as well, working closely with programmers to ensure that we could convey key plot points.

My level takes place in a resturant. As a sight gag I propped the tables with increasingly ridiculous piles of dishes.
